Hardik got emotional after listening to Rohit’s speech
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya broke down after listening to Rohit Sharma’s speech at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, July 4. Speaking during India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory celebrations, Sharma credited Hardik Pandya for the title win. Rohit said Pandya’s ability to stay calm and composed helped India dismiss David Miller, whom the team considers one of the most dangerous players in the world.
Hearing this, Hardik Pandya was in tears as he went through emotional ups and downs after returning to Mumbai Indians’ home ground Wankhede in the Indian Premier League.
Rohit and Virat danced in the stadium
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma celebrated at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and danced to the tunes of Chak De India. The Indian team reached the Wankhede Stadium at around 9 pm after the victory parade in an open-top bus at Marine Drive. After reaching the Wankhede Stadium, Rohit pulled Virat Kohli with him towards the stands and the two performed Bhangra.
